We cycle on backroads with lovely open landscapes and leisurely with plenty of stops to rest and take photos. The terrain is varied, mainly flat and follows by the mixture of tarmac roads and dirt roads passing the countryside & floating village.

There are many scenic photo opportunities along the tour with stunning views of the rice paddies and Tonle Sap lake.
You will be picked up from your hotel to the Siem Reaper office, where you will meet your guide. Here, receive a safety briefing, learn about the itinerary for the day, and be fitted with a bicycle and helmet.
The tour will begin by cycling down interesting dirt lanes through Siem Reap’s countryside. Along the way, your guide will take you to local farms and various village activities where you will learn about the everyday lives of the Cambodian villagers.
Stop for lunch and taste all sorts of local flavors. Enjoy local drink and lounge in a hammock.
Continue our bike ride to the floating village. Once we reach Kampong Phluk, we will take a tour around the area to explore the houses. The houses are built on stilts, adapted to withstand flooding, experienced during the rainy season. You will learn about daily life and the area from your tour guide.
After exploring the village, we will take a boat and further discover the village life from the water, such as the schools, market, pagoda, etc.
At the end of the day, we will watch the sunset on the lake with some snacks and cold beverages.
You will return back to the city by private vehicle in the late evening.

You’ll ride on a top-quality mountain bike that has been designed to be both comfortable and durable. All bikes come with front suspension and offer a great ride whether you’re off-roading or going for a leisurely ride.
You will be led by an English-speaking guide who offers local insight, pursues great experiences, and makes every tour exceptional. Our guides are well informed about the local culture, history, and religions of the area where you are biking and are skilled at passing that knowledge on to you. Your guide is also a medically trained cyclist, who has the experience and knowledge to handle most minor repairs en-route.
Lunch is included during the tour. Meals are characterized by fresh, seasonal ingredients, prepared in Cambodia’s simple and classic style.

What cycling skill level do I need for this tour?
While all of our tours maintain a leisurely pace, we want our guests to have fun and be safe, so being able to ride a bike is paramount.
Our tour is perfect for novice bike riders or those that haven’t been on a bike in years, You should have average balance, be able to start and stop comfortably, and be familiar with hand brakes. We will be riding on bike lanes, through dirt roads, and occasionally with traffic. Safety is our number one priority but confidence in yourself is the first step to overall group safety.
If you’re not sure how you’ll fare, we invite you to come to our office about 30 minutes prior to your tour start time to try the bikes.
Is this tour appropriate for children?
Yes! We welcome children to participate in the tours and can provide any necessary equipment. If you are joining as a family, an adult must accompany the children. In addition, we have special prices for children:

Do you have smaller bikes, baby seats, tandems?
Yes, we’ve got 2 different smaller-sized bikes for kids and adults who are too short to use our bikes.
We have baby seats for kids that are between the ages of 1 and 3 years old (max weight of 22 kg (48 lbs)).
We also have some tandem attachment bikes that are suitable for little kids who are too big for the baby seat but too small to cycle on their own.
Do you organize private tours for groups?

What is your weather policy?
Our tours run rain or shine, and we have raincoat available at our office or during the tour for anyone that needs them. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and to dress accordingly.

We’re happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour* Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.

What information is needed to book a tour?
To sign up for a tour please provide us with your full name, country, destination, tour date, number of participants, accommodation, room number, email address, and any other information that we request. You will then receive the tour booking confirmation via email.
The prices of the tours are displayed on the site and are liable to change at any time. All tours can be customized in the currency used on the website.
The adult has to pay the full price of the tour with Siem Reaper. If you are a travel group or family, please contact us, we may provide a special price for the tour that you book with Siem Reaper.
Traveling with children
Siem Reaper’s tours are designed to suit all participants of all levels of experience, fitness, and ages. Therefore, we welcome children to participate in the tours and can provide any necessary equipment. If you are joining as a family, an adult must accompany the children. In addition, we have special prices for children:

You have to complete your booking with the specific date and correct information. Once we have received your tour booking details, our booking expert will send you the booking confirmation. Once you submit a booking form, we confirm your booking via email. Payment must be made in full when you arrive at our office or at our travel agencies. The payment is accepted in cash with US Dollar or Cambodian Riels. Unfortunately, we cannot take online payments at the moment.
Booking cancellation is notified within 48 hours before the tour start. 1 day or day of departure cancellation will be charged without refundable. Medical facilities in Cambodia is rather limited, so it is imperative for you to take out a good medical insurance policy when you travel to Cambodia. The insurance should at least cover the cost of an evacuation flight out of the country, and medical and emergency evacuation. Siem Reaper highly requires our participants to have a proof of purchase of an adequate travel insurance policy cover in order to participate in any of our activities such as cycling, motorbike ride, camping, and any adventure tour.
Guests have applied to participate in tours that involve biking, walking, camping and other outdoor adventure sports, thus you acknowledge that the activities involve known and unanticipated risks occasionally, which could result in physical injury, paralysis or permanent disability, death, and property damage. Therefore, you represent that you have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage you may suffer or cause while participating in these activities, or else you agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage by yourself. Siem Reaper has no responsibility for any losses or damages while participating with us.
