What the guests tell about us?

  • Wonderful day in the landscape, by bicycle.

Thanks to Georges and Marco, we had a wonderful cycling day in the countryside. Marco took me directly from my hostel with his Tuk-Tuk, we picked the bicycles (very good mountain bikes). We began to ride on paths to George’s village, through the rice fields. We stopped when we wanted, to ask about something we saw or to take a picture. We visited the market, bought some fruits, visited a mushroom farm, and also the ceremonial in the village! Later we stopped in a pagoda where Georges talked to us about Buddhism. For lunch we had several very good typical meal to share, and time to rest in a hammock… In the afternoon we saw two old temples lost in the forest, and arrived just in time to take the boat to the floating villages. The sunset through the floating forest on Tonlé Sap was a wonderful moment, sitting on front of the boat with a cold beer…
The team was so friendly I felt as in family. I discovered local usages, food, and the beautiful countryside around Siem Reap, with my favorite mean of transport : bicycle.
Thank you very much Georges and Marco!
